It turns out that the Constitutional Amendment that claims to save marriage in Texas will end up destroying it.
This must be a plot by those godless, free-love, hippie types left over from the 60's. They have been laying low and acting respectable until they got into positions of power.
Now they influence the government and usurp our cherished traditions! heh.
...And you thought it was about not letting "those people" have any fun (or rights).
